The lord be exalted
in the jagged edged rocks
of mountainsides,
in the swirling mists rising
from the river valley
up towards the eagle's nest,
in the pristine and verdant
panorama of rolling hills,
mapping our souls.
We stammer about might and beauty
which informs us of God's mastery,
in the remaining rugged ridge that
timelessly stands,
unmoving, dependable,
that encourages us about forever
in His love.
