“Floating Away”

Floating away! Floating away! The clouds above my head
are floating away. Where they are going I haven’t a clue. I
just know that the clouds above my head are floating away.
Floating away to reveal a beautiful sky of blue, the majesty
Of the Lord to declare, warms my heart and soothes my soul, as
In awe of the Lord I stand, amazed as the clouds above my
Head are floating away.
If only wings I could sprout and fly to follow those clouds
As they float away, what beauty could my eyes behold from
Up on high? Could I touch the heavens from which the rain
Falls? Or, could I ride aboard those floating clouds, while
My Lord I would praise, as I finally learn to where those
Clouds are floating away.
