An icon of South U. And State Street. Toothless and old as Mountains of Gilboa. They call you "Shakey Jake."
The Blues was your forte, Played on an old delapidated guitar, Strings loose, and never tuned. Street corner haunts with Silver coins flowing into your case.
Old Delta Blues from The pit of your gut; A style of your own you Possessed, pleasing crowds During street wanderings In Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A fixture at bars, restaurants, Coffee Houses and such. The worn coat, rounded Hat, and sunglasses- A signature style.
Spouting words of wisdom For U of M students to Absorb and contemplate- A desire beyond compare.
Now you rest in the Sea of dirt, but you Can be viewed on Youtube!

Steve,
I didn't believe that you'd really end up writing this one about Shakey Jakey. You told me that you were planning to. Love it, man.
