Recently, I have been thinking about the reality of our world- The ramifications of the bomb dropping on human beings, Shattering their lives as well as their body parts.
Recently, I have been thhinking about the atmosphere of our world- Tainted with smog, acid rain and and abundance of pesticides, Which toxic effect will make the whites of the eyes glow.
Recently, I have been thinking about my life in the eyes of God And I quiver in the sight of a Holy God that sees all my sins; Secret sins, open sins, sins of the mind and the hand.
Recently, I have been thinkiing about the news reports that are Saying war is the answer to all the problems of the world, When actually, we fight not against flesh and blood.
Recently, I have been thinking about the children of our planet. Their starving little faces haunt my pillows at night and Their buldging eyes and stomachs symbolize a world without care.
Recently, I have been thinking about my Mother's condition- She barely moves of late and she aches and pains most time. Her destiny is drawing very near.
Please Lord, take control of my mind!

Go Green and go God, maybe it's the scheme of things. I'll pray for your Mother and also that you will " Keep On The Sunny Side" an old hymn that is one of my Dad's favorites. It is so sad that we have what I call "Pooped in our own back yard" so to speak and the environment is so negative. Thanks for sharing your thoughts through your poetry. I guess all of us have the spectre of the big bomb hanging over us, and the visions of starving children. My Mom; a very, very religious woman in her 70's, is always telling me to trust in God and to do the best you can do, simple philosophy, but true. I am getting older and it's harder to manage and my parents are experiencing a lot of physical problems and they rarely complain. A loss of independence is frightening to me. But I try hard to keep on the sunny side of life. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR POETRY AND THOUGHTS!
